This post is long overdue...As you can guess, this picture is from February 5th, 2006, which will go down in history not only because the Steelers won "one for the thumb," but also because it is the first Superbowl Libby Howe has been genuinely interested in for a reason that was not edible (no seriously, I actually watched the entire game). Yes, I asked Brian about 500 questions by the time it was over, and yes, I still had my share of taco chips, but I think a true Steelers fan was born this season. Of course, Brian couldn't be happier about this (can't you tell from the picture)! I personally think I'm a lucky charm. I started caring about the Red Sox last year in the middle of the World Series, and we all know how that turned out. And now, I start waving the Terrible Towel at football games, and the Steelers win the Superbowl. Coincidence? I think not. Power to the Pakistani - I am a certified lucky charm :)
